About ACF
Building climate resilience through community-led solutions that bridge environment, education, and enterprise.
Our Story
Founded in 2022, we are a non-profit organisation working at the cross-section of environment, education and enterprises. We strive to build solutions that are community-led, context-specific and scalable.
Our journey began with a simple belief: that sustainable climate action requires deep community engagement, scientific rigor, and collaborative partnerships. Today, we work across India's diverse eco-regions, implementing solutions that honor both traditional knowledge and modern innovation.

What Drives Us
Our work is guided by four core principles that shape every initiative we undertake.
Purpose-Driven
We are a group of people with commitment and deep knowledge to drive climate action by implementing adaptation and mitigation strategies.
Problem-Solving Mindset
Our multi-disciplinary team implements interventions backed by rigorous scientific evidence, contextualizes and adapts the best practices.
Collaborative Partnership
We build strong coalition through collaboration with diverse stakeholders including governments, private sector and civil society organisations.
Community Empowerment
We develop long-term partnerships, empower communities, apply traditional knowledge systems, build new knowledge, and actively work in climate initiatives at sub-national level.
Our Approach
We believe in a holistic approach that combines community empowerment, collaborative partnerships, and education to create lasting climate solutions.
Empower
We empower communities to build knowledge, enhance capacities, and take lead in climate action solutions for ownership and long-term impact.
Collaborate
We collaborate to build strong coalition with government, private sector and civil society organisations for effective climate action.
Educate
We integrate climate education and leverage Traditional Ecological Knowledge for achieving overarching climate goals.
